James Kirklin II is a native of North Little Rock, AR. He is a member of the last graduating class of NLR Ole Main in 1990. He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff before going to work for the North Little Rock School District. He volunteered and coached at the NLR Boys Club. During that span of time, he served as a mentor to many at-risk young people.
He is the founder of Bridging the Gap Ministries in Dalton, GA. It is a community based ministry that serves the NW Georgia area. They have coordinated several community projects that promoted reconciliation in the community.
He currently resides in the metro-Atlanta area with his wife (Shannika) and their three children. He attends Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, GA. It was there, under the tutelage of Dr. Betty Palmer, he gained a clear understanding of his purpose, which is to assist in the saving our sons. Thus, Project Reclaiming Our Boys (R.O.B.) was born. He will graduate in May of 2010 with a degree in Community and International Economic Development.
Mr. Kirklin works tirelessly to promote the message that we need to save our sons. He has pledged to promote the message of Project Reclaiming Our Boys (R.O.B.). He is committed to Changing the Statistics!
